Password reset & recovery

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself. If you just want to change it, you can do that from your account too.

Reset a forgotten password

1. On the login page, choose Forgot password.
2. Enter your account email.
3. Check your inbox for a recovery email and open its link.
4. Set a new password — remember the 12-character minimum.
5. Sign in with your new password.

Note

For your security, the “forgot password” screen looks the same whether or not an account exists for that email, and recovery links are time-limited. If a link has expired, simply request a new one.

Change your password while signed in

If you remember your current password and just want to rotate it, do so from your profile & preferences. Choosing a strong, unique password is the single most effective thing you can do to protect your account.

Not receiving the email?

Check	Detail
Spam / junk	Recovery mail can be filtered — check those folders.
Correct address	Use the exact email your account was invited with.
Wait a moment	Delivery can take a little time; avoid requesting many resets in quick succession.
Still nothing	Contact your agency admin or support.

Choosing a strong password

• At least 12 characters (the minimum) — longer is better.
• Unique to Maddict — never reuse a password from another service.
• A passphrase of several unrelated words is strong and memorable.
• Consider a password manager to generate and store it.
